Meet The Team

A Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, Dr. Mark Jury earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology at UC Santa Barbara and his Doctor of Optometry from UC Berkeley in 1990. Shortly thereafter, Dr. Jury served his Internship at SUNY in New York, focusing on Children’s Vision. Upon completing his Residency training in Hospital-Based Optometry at Wilford Hall Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas, Dr. Jury served as a United States Air Force Optometrist for 8 years, serving as head of the contact lens program for fighter pilots at Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii.

Dr. Evelyn Lee earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Marshall B. Ketchum University in Fullerton, California. Her clinical externships included working with active-duty military personnel in San Diego, veterans at a VA hospital in Las Vegas, and low-vision patients at a low-vision rehabilitation center in Los Angeles. During her externship, she gained extensive experience managing diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and other ocular diseases. Before completing her doctorate, Dr. Lee earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Master of Education from the University of California, San Diego. Dr. Lee taught middle school science in the San Diego Unified School District for seven years before attending optometry school, so she has great experience working with children and educating patients about the importance of their vision and ocular health examinations. Dr. Lee is a California native and moved to Murrieta in 2017 from Orange County. She loves to serve this community and provide outstanding service through personalized, comprehensive eye care. She tailors each patient’s prescription and eyewear to their specific needs. Dr. Lee is fluent in English and Spanish. She looks forward to caring for all your and your family’s eye care needs.
